I am attending a middle school in korea
Well, as you may know, Koreans are 1year old when they are born. So in Korea you get one age older !
In korea you can go to elementary school at 8(Korean age)
that means you can go at 7. There is no Kindergarden in Korea. But there is a similar one called ‘infant school’. When you are 5-7years old, you go can go there, but it is not forced. you have your free to decide. As a result the oppurtunity education starts from elementary school. Of course it doesn’t require any money. You go there at the same age as in the U.S. (7years old in U.S. age) Then you graduate when you are 12(U.S. age). Then you enter middle school. Almost every middle school has their own uniform. you attend middle school for 3years. This is the end of the forced education system. Yet, about 98% go to highschools. You attend highschools for 3years. After you graduate, some go to college and some don’t, I mean they can’t. college takes 4years. When you graduate you are supposed to be 23. But Boys attend the military for 2years. so when Men graduate they are 25. Men go to the army when they are 20. and come back at 21 or so.
Except the Military part, it is almost the same as America or other countries.
P.S. we do not call our schools institutes, we call them schools !!
